Charlie’s yoga journey began 10 years ago when she was training to be an actor. Having always had a tendency to overthink everything, she loved how yoga grounded her focus and concentration and brought her attention back into her body.
Since 2015, she deepened her commitment to Yoga and realised that it was in fact Yoga, and not her office job, that was giving her steadiness and grounding. She flew to India, the home of Yoga, and completed her training with The Yoga People. Here she truly realised her purpose – to help others come back to their bodies and find their haven in, what can be, a very anxious world.
Charlie has an enthusiastic, confident and friendly approach. She likes to have fun in class but equally puts a lot of focus on linking breath to movement, using clear energetic verbal cues with safe hands-on adjustments. She encourages her class to find the practise that works for their body without comparing themselves to others. Her students love her open and lucid style and leave feeling stretched, calm and smiling.
